The USSD code for sharing data with other Airtel users is *141#. You would be given a detailed process, below:

  1. The first step is to dial *141# or *432# using the Airtel line of your choice.
  2. If it is *141# you choose, click on Airtel Me2U and send. If you selected *432# click on gift card, then send.
  3. Choose the number 2 option which is highlighted ( send DATA Me2U from existing allowance) then click send.
  4. Punch in the Airtel data amount that you want to share.
  5. Input your Airtel Me2U default code 1234, then confirm the transaction.

Note: you should keep in mind that there is a service charge of N10 for every Airtime or data shared with family friends, using the Airtel Me2U code.

How to Change Your Default Me2U Transfer Pin

To be on the safe side and ensure that your transactions are secured, remember to change your default Me2U transfer pin to something new. This can be achieved following this simple procedure:

In your text message box, input PIN – Default PIN – New PIN. That is the default PIN and the new PIN you want to change to.

Send the message to 432

If the feedback was successful, they would send you a message that they have changed the default PIN to the new PIN you inputted.

You can now successfully transfer airtime or data to other Airtel networks using your new PIN.
