The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 2022/2023 Application Portal is opened for the Applicants to be able to apply.

As you all know, when you join the Nigerian Defence Academy, it’s either you become an Airforce Officer, Naval Officer or An Army Officer it’s also the same thing as joining as a graduate. You will still become a military Officer. Those who join the Nigerian Nigerian Defence Academy are paid more than those who joined through normal military recruitment. Please also note that those who joined the Nigerian Defence Academy with SSCE are paid the same salary with the ones that joined as a graduate which is also known as DSSC or SSC. You can read about the difference between DSSC and SSC in the Nigerian Military

Nigerian Defence Academy NDA is like any other University in the Country where You pass out with your BSC In any of your selected course during Application.

Nigerian Defence Academy is combination of both Military and Academic Sessions.
The difference between other federal Universities and Nigerian Defence Academy is that when you pass out from the Nigerian Defence Academy,you already secured a Job because you will become a Military Officer either in the Army,Navy and Air force.

Application For The Nigerian Defence Academy NDA 74RC 2022/2023

1. The Application of the 74rc Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna will be available soon.
2.Admission into NDA is open to both MALE and FEMALE Nigerians.
3. Candidates should logon to the application portal https://ndaapplications.net/, select “Purchase Form” pay for their application via REMITA in the sum of N3,500.00 only.
4. Please note that only payment against RRR Codes generated via the application portal would be accepted.

ALL APPLICANTS APPLYING FOR ADMISSION INTO NDA MUST ALSO APPLY TO THE JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATIONS BOARD (JAMB), AND MUST ALSO SELECT NDA AS FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION. SUCH APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO SIT FOR THE JAMB UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATIONS (UTME).

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

3. Applications forms are to be submitted together with the scanned SSCE results online. On submission of the online application, candidates are to download an Acknowledgement Form.

4. The requirements for various undergraduate degree programmes are as detailed in the NDA website/applications portal. All other information concerning degree courses, eligibility and screening test centres are as contained in the NDA website / applications portal.

Nigerian Defence Academy NDA 74RC 2022/2023 Screening Test Condition

5. Only candidates who Possess the minimum admission requirements would be considered for the Screening Test.
The UTME score for Engineering is 210 points. For those of Arts & Social Sciences and Science is 180 points.
6. The NDA screening test will be conducted as phase one of the Post-UTME screening and it is scheduled to hold on Saturday 15th day of May 2022. Therefore, all the eligible candidates are to come along their Acknowledgement Form, Their Screening Test Admission Card, Their JAMB result slip and 2 postcard sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs to the Screening Test Center.

The photographs should only show from the chest upwards and should also contain the candidate’s Name, Exam number, State, Exam Centre, Course of study and Signature at the back. Note that Only successful candidates at the NDA Screening Test are the ones that will be subsequently be invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board which is the phase 2 of the screening test following which the list of admitted candidates will be published.

NATURE AND DURATION OF THE CADETS TRAINING

7. All the Candidates admitted into NDA for Regular Course are to undergo a military and academic training as Officer Cadets for a period of 5 years for Nigerian Army cadets period of 4 years for Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air force cadets. On successful completion of the cadets training, graduands will earn a honors degree in a core discipline (BSc, BEng, BA). They will also earn a Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
