The NSCDC also know as Nigerian Security And Civil Defence Corps is one of the Security Agencies in Nigeria which helps in Fighting Crimes and Insurgency in the Country. NSCDC is a para military Agency.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) was first introduced in Nigeria in May 1967 during the Time Of the Nigerian Civil War. That period,
It was only in the Federal Capital Territory of Lagos for the purpose of sensitization and protection of the civil populace. That time, It was known as “Lagos Civil Defence Committee”
Because of that, NSCDC always conduct their Recruitments once in a year to be able to absorb some able men who wish and wants to join the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps.
Though Everyone is welcomed to join the Recruitment but there are some requirements which you need to Posses before you will be qualified to join the NSCDC.

NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Requirements
- Any one Applying for the Recruitment must be a Nigerian by nationalization or by birth.
- All the Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
- The Male applicants must not be less than 1.7 metre tall and female applicants must also not be less than 1.64 metre tall.
- All Applicants must be physically and medically fit and must not have any medical issues which is related to vision, stuttering, tattoos, flat foot ,hearing etc.
- Applicants must have not gone to any major orthopedic surgery.
Academic Requirements For NSCDC 2022
- For O level Certificate holders,You must Posses Your SSCE Certificate (WAEC,NECO,NABTEB,GCE.)
- For OND & NCE Certificate Holders,the Same is Applied to you because you need to present the certificates while registering.
- HND/BSC Holders.Your Certificates is Also necessary.
Please note that the Rank you will get After Joining the service depends on the qualification you entered with. If you entered with BSC,HND, Your Salary is going to be higher.

• Then you have to click on the link to register.
• Complete and view all online forms that you have filled to prevent mistakes.
• Then submit your application.
• Print out all the forms that you have filled online as a proof of registration.
