Nigerian Military School (NMS) Application Form 2022/2023
The Nigerian Military School NMS is like any other secondary school which is targeted in developing and building a soldier from small.
The Nigerian Military School is a bit different from other secondary schools because it’s consists of Both Academic and Military training right from the Jss1 one in the School.
The Nigerian Military School NMS is Located in Zaria Nigerian Army.
The Nigerian Military School Zaria always starts their admission early February for the interested candidates to Apply.
Please note that this Application is for the candidates who just finished their Primary and wants to choose military as their career as they will become a soldier automatically immediately after writing their SSCE Examination.
Before you can be able to apply for the Nigerian You need to know the requirements and how to Apply.
Once in every year, NMS always open admission for suitably qualified candiates to apply.
The application period usually opens between middle of February to end of May.
NMS trains only male Nigerian Boys only. Admission of the Boys into the School is strictly for JSS1 ONLY.
We have Listed below the key entry requirements for admission into NMS:
a. The Candidate must be a Nigerian male Child.
b. The Candidate must be between the ages of 12 years old and 14 years old by September of the year the candidate is applying.
c. The Applying Candidate must have completed Primary School education.
d. The Candidate must be medically, mentally and physically fit.
e. The Applying Candidate must be of good moral character.
f. The Applying Candidate must fill and submit his application form online through the application portal.
g. The Applying Candidate must sit for the Entrance Examination on the scheduled date and at the venue he chose while filling the online application form.
h. All the Candidates are to report to the Examination Centre with the ORIGINAL COPY of their Exam Photocard as generated from the Application portal. Candidates without Exam Photocard shall NOT be allowed to sit for the exam.
i. All the Candidates who were invited for selection interview will be made to undergo compressive physical and medical examinations.
j. All the Candidates invited for selection interview will be required to come along with the original copies of Birth Certificate, completed Local Government Certificate of Origin and their Exam Photocard.
Please Also note that:
• Admission into Nigerian Military School (NMS) is open to all male Nigerians who fulfil the given entry requirements.
• It is NOT restricted to only children of Military Personnel.
• NMS does NOT accept students on transfer from other schools.
• All candidtes must enter the School at JSS 1 and then work hard and diligently to complete their education and military training up to SS 3.

HOW TO APPLY FOR ADMISSION AT NMS
All the Interested candidates must fill all the Application Form online by following these simple procedures:
a. Visit www.nms1954.sch.ng/apply
b. If you have already created your form for this year, you only need to log in by clicking the GREEN tab.
c. If it’s your first time of filling the form, click the BLUE tab:
i. In Step 1, read the instructions carefully, then click the START button.
ii. In Step 2, fill in candidate’s personal information and click “Next”.
iii. In Step 3, fill in candidate’s contact details and click “Next”.
iv. In Step 4, fill in other details and click “Next”.
v. Finally, click “Generate Form” to complete the form creation.
d. When your Payment Advice displays, you can choose the easy way for you,either click the “PAY AT BANK” button or the “PAY ONLINE” button depending on your preferred choice.
e. Please note that once the application form fees is paid,it is non-refundable.
f. You can then finally submit your Application Form only when your payment has been confirmed.

Remember to print out your Application Form, Payment Advice and PhotoCard which is among the documents you must present at the examination center.
NMS Application Form Fee is ₦2,300.00 only; which includes the Bank Transaction Charges.
Payments for NMS admission application form can only be made in two ways,.
1.By printing your payment slip and taking it to a bank for payment, or
2.By paying directly online using your bank-issued debit or credit card .
